Ian Mishkel
Interim President & CEO
Ian is a senior leader with over 30 years of experience driving organizational growth across the private, public, and non-profit sectors. He began his career in the corporate sector, working in consumer goods, sales, and marketing—fields that shaped his deep understanding of strategy, audience engagement, and operational efficiency. He transitioned into the non-profit sector 25 years ago, bringing a strategic, results-driven approach to the sector. He has held executive leadership roles at Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Toronto, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening institutional capacity and long-term sustainability.

Firoozeh Radjai
Chief Development Officer
Firoozeh brings almost three decades of experience in the development, implementation, and management of successful fundraising and marketing campaigns. Throughout her career, Firoozeh has been passionate about social justice and committed to advancing gender, racial, cultural, and socioeconomic equity. Before joining Pathways, she served as the Director of Philanthropy at YWCA Toronto. She also held leadership positions at Stratcom, an award-winning fundraising, research and communications consulting agency exclusively working for the non-profit sector, as well as at prominent charities including Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth and Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.


Subagini Sivapatham
Chief Impact Officer
Subagini has over two decades of non-profit leadership experience in organizational strategy through impact-programming, brand building, integrated marketing, client experience, and business development. Prior to joining Pathways, she held leadership roles at non-profit organizations including Artscape, Futurpreneur Canada, and the Newcomer Centre of Peel. Subagini also served on the Advisory Board for both the Women’s Economic Council and the Access Employment Entrepreneurship Program, and is the current Co-Chair on the Board of Directors for Applaud.

Fedja Stevanovic
Chief Technology Officer
Fedja brings a wealth of experience in technology strategy, software development, and digital innovation. As Chief Technology Officer, he leads Pathways’ digital transformation efforts, strengthening the systems that support student success. He is known for building high-performing teams and delivering user-centered solutions that are responsive to community needs. Prior to joining Pathways, Fedja held leadership roles at Capital One Canada, Rocket Piggy, and SecureKey Technologies, where he led large-scale initiatives across sectors.

As the governing body of Pathways to Education Canada, the National Board of Directors oversees our policy development, sets our strategic direction, and monitors our performance against our goals.
